PluckFresh is a community built around fresh food, honest advice, and respect for each other. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Content or accounts that break these rules will be removed.
1. The Short Version
Share what you cook, what you scan, and what you learn. Be kind. Don't post anything you wouldn't want served to you. If you see something that doesn't belong here, report it — we review every report within 24 hours.
2. What's Not Allowed
The following have no place on PluckFresh, in posts, comments, messages, photos, usernames, or profiles:
- Harassment and bullying — targeting, threatening, shaming, or repeatedly contacting someone who doesn't want to hear from you.
- Hate — attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other identity. No hate speech, symbols, or dog whistles.
- Nudity and sexual content — this is a food app. Keep it that way.
- Violence — threats, glorification of violence, or content that encourages dangerous behavior.
- Spam and misleading content — repetitive posting, fake engagement, scams, or content designed to deceive.
- Dangerous food-safety misinformation — advice that could make someone sick. Claiming visibly spoiled or moldy food is safe to eat, promoting unsafe preservation or preparation practices, or presenting harmful claims as facts. We treat this as seriously as any other harm, because on a food app it is one.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another person, brand, or PluckFresh itself.
3. Reporting and Blocking
Every post, comment, message, and profile in the app has a Report action — in the menu on posts and profiles, or by long-pressing a comment or message. Pick the reason that fits, add details if you like, and submit. Reports are anonymous: the person you report is never told who reported them.
You can also block anyone from their profile, any of their posts, or a conversation. Blocking hides their content and posts from you, removes your content from them, and stops them from messaging you. They are not notified. You can manage blocks anytime in Settings → Blocked Users.
4. What Happens When You Report
- We review every report within 24 hours.
- Content reported by multiple people is hidden automatically while we review it.
- If content breaks these guidelines, we remove it.
- Repeat or serious violations end in account termination. For the worst behavior — hate, threats, sexual content involving minors — one strike is enough.
5. Consequences
Depending on severity, breaking these rules leads to content removal, loss of posting privileges, or permanent account termination. We don't negotiate on the zero-tolerance categories above. If you believe we got something wrong, reach out through Settings → Send Feedback and we'll take a second look.
